Do I need a Producer?

There's nothing more exciting than seeing a vision for a project come to life. But to successfully accomplish a quality recording, and something that you can be proud of, it starts with a good producer. A record or music producer has many roles, among them controlling the recording sessions, coaching and guiding the musicians, organizing and scheduling production budget and resources, and supervising the recording, mixing and mastering processes. This has been a major function of producers since the inception of sound recording, but in the later half of the 20th century producers also took on a wider entrepreneurial role. However, more critically, the producer's job is to create, shape and mold a piece of music in accordance with their vision for the album."

IF YOU:
  • Have ever recorded a CD, but got the final master back and heard a vocal mistake here or there...
  • Have ever released a "new" CD, and wanted to give the CD to someone to listen to, but used the phrase, "now... it's not perfect" before you handed them the CD?
THEN:
  • You did not have a professional producer involved in the recording process of your project. If you have to "prepare" the audience before they listen to your CD, your CD is not ready for release.
  • If you are ready to take your music production and career "to the next level", it's time for a producer.

What are the artists saying?

"You really do not need to travel to Nashville any longer to find a very professional, talented producer and recording studio. Randall Garland far exceeded our expectations as an arranger, writer, producer and now our friend. We will continue to recommend him to our friends in the industry. Whether you are wanting an affordable "table" project with leased tracks or you would prefer all original tracks, both can be attained with Randall. We had high expectations for our original numbers with our latest project, and Randall delivered far and above what we even thought possible. You will be challenged vocally! The most important factor to us in our recording is to have the Holy Spirit invited into our session. We can tell you that happened with Randall."
